▼MITRE ATT&CK does not currently catalogue EndZone, so this is our assessment of the techniques it uses, drawn from public reporting. The techniques themselves, and every "what that means" definition below, come from MITRE ATT&CK v20.0. Confidence: low. Treat it as orientation, not attribution.
-
T1059.001 PowerShell Execution
What they do: EndZone executes malicious payloads via PowerShell to stage ransomware operations on compromised endpoints.
What that means: Adversaries may abuse PowerShell commands and scripts for execution.
-
T1685 Disable or Modify Tools Defense Impairment
What they do: EndZone disables or modifies security tools like antivirus and monitoring agents to hinder incident response.
What that means: Adversaries may disable, degrade, or tamper with security tools or applications (e.g., endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools, intrusion detection systems (IDS), antivirus, logging agents, sensors, etc.) to impair or reduce visibility of defensive capabilities.
-
T1070.004 File Deletion Stealth
What they do: EndZone performs file deletion to remove backups, logs, and recovery artifacts to increase pressure on victims.
What that means: Adversaries may delete files left behind by the actions of their intrusion activity.
-
T1083 File and Directory Discovery Discovery
What they do: EndZone uses file and directory discovery to locate sensitive data and encryption targets across victim systems.
What that means: Adversaries may enumerate files and directories or may search in specific locations of a host or network share for certain information within a file system.
-
T1560.001 Archive via Utility Collection
What they do: EndZone archives victim data via utility commands before encryption to support potential extortion demands.
What that means: Adversaries may use utilities to compress and/or encrypt collected data prior to exfiltration.
-
T1486 Data Encrypted for Impact Impact
What they do: EndZone encrypts victim files for impact, targeting business documents and data repositories to force ransom payments.
What that means: Adversaries may encrypt data on target systems or on large numbers of systems in a network to interrupt availability to system and network resources.
-
T1490 Inhibit System Recovery Impact
What they do: EndZone inhibits system recovery by destroying Volume Shadow Copies and disabling restoration capabilities.
What that means: Adversaries may delete or remove built-in data and turn off services designed to aid in the recovery of a corrupted system to prevent recovery.

Gomomentum.com $221.7 million Data has been published for public download Momentum is a telecommunications company founded in 2001 that provides cloud-based communication solutions for businesses, specializing in cloud voice services, managed networks, SD-WAN solutions, and Microsoft Teams Phone integration. We gained access to a diagnostic and provisioning tool used by Momentum through a compromised Multi-Service Operator (MSO). Upon reconnaissance, we identified multiple critical vulnerabilities throughout the system. This tool controls internet and voice services for millions of users across global markets. We successfully accessed user data for every MSO, exposing personally identifiable information (PII) for over 7.5 million users. They didn't notice the prolonged access or the customer data dump for a while, but when we started deleting modems they noticed. They kept burning access and we gained it back, they'd burn it again. We have caused widespread outages (https://www.abc4.com/news/wasatch-front/eagle-mountain-internet-outage-cyberattack/). We now have had over 100,000 packages successfully deleted. That's 100,000+ people without internet service right now. Families, businesses, students all cut off from the digital world. This is the direct result of their negligence and failure to secure their systems. These services can be restored immediately with the click of a button on our tool but you must reach out. Click "View Affected MSOs" below to see the full list of compromised providers. Momentum management should contact us to discuss resolution. Affected MSOs can also contact us to have their users' data deleted from our database. Note: Use Tor 'Safer' settings. Looking for alternative file host. This is what happens when you ignore us or go ghost. Momentum Telecom is a prime example of negligence in action. They don't care about their 7.5 million customers whose PII has been exposed. They don't care about the 100,000+ people who lost internet service due to widespread outages we caused as a direct result of their poor security practices. The Eagle Mountain, Utah "cyberattack" and internet outage that made national news? That was us. That was a direct consequence of Momentum's failure to secure their systems. They ignored repeated warnings, they burned access repeatedly, and we kept gaining it back. We deleted modems, caused service disruptions, and left families, businesses, and students without internet for days. Read the coverage:ABC4|Fox 13Momentum management repeatedly contacted us, then ghosted us every single time. They reached out to initiate negotiations, then disappeared. They agreed to terms, then stopped responding. This pattern continued over and over. They don't take this seriously. They don't care about their customers. Now their data is public and their customers are paying the price for their arrogance.Don't be like Momentum. Don't ignore us. Don't go ghost. When we reach out, we expect a response. When we say we have your data, we have your data. When we say we can cause damage, we can cause damage.Contact us. Negotiate. Resolve this before you become the next headline. |

Revenue: $125.6 billion Initial access was via a CX contractor doing business with AT&T. Access originally used as vehicle for Equipment Changes/Call Forwarding (thanks a lot TORCH patch) - VPN + HVD (both external and internal MyDesktop) instances were accessed for a prolonged period without any detection or incident response taking place. Certificates exported from certlm in the VDI + OPUS self installer (automatically joins EP to S1) opened up the door to the VPN. Salesforce data was accessed via a project manager ATTUID + a DirecTV contractor who for some reason had the apps available in Salesforce. AT&T CSO, if you are reading this, you are to contact us ASAP! |
